Hey there, bloggers, just a note to let you know how I am doing. Last November 2014 I had gastric sleeve surgery in Tijuana Mexico by the excellent Dr. Michel at Obesity Not 4 Me.
So far, I have lost 47 pounds. For me, this is great. Compared to my male relatives who had the same surgery, I have lost much slower than them. Go figure. What it is, Porkchop!
Here is Dr. Michel's info, if you're interested. It's much cheaper in Mexico, and several of my aunts, uncles, and cousins had the gastric sleeve with much success. It is less invasive than the gastric bypass (Roue-n-y) and the lap band surgeries. In fact, it was all done by laproscopy and I was out of the hospital the next day!
